| Dead Animals is a project that I developed with Shu Hung between 2004 and 2007. The project consists of photographs taken in various cities where we have stumbled upon lost or discarded stuffed animals. The animals usually look dirty and abused from being left to the elements, almost as if they are dead. There seems to be a relationship between the presence of these sad, lost toys and the rapid expansion of today’s developing cities. A book of photos from this series was published in 2007. |
